The Friends of the Herzliya Museum Association
The Museum is an artistic, cultural, and educational public institution that operates as a non-profit organization, and is supported by the municipality, the Israeli Ministry of Culture, and the Friends Club.
The Friends of the Museum Club offers a unique framework for art- and culture-lovers for engaging in a close and dynamic personal relationship with the Museum across its wide range of activities.
Direct support for young Israeli artists and art education in the community
The funds provided by the Friends are used directly to produce works by artists who exhibit at the Museum and educational programs aimed at diverse target groups.
Freedom of speech and creativity
The Friends’ involvement in the Museum preserves the institution’s autonomy and enables it to maintain highly professional activities. Above all, it protects the Museum from external interventions or pressures of any kind.
Benefits
Friends of the Museum benefit from nine events in the course of the year, including special pre-opening events that offer both a social occasion and an enriching, direct encounter with the exhibitions’ artists and curators.
In addition, we also hold “content events” and art tours around the country and even overseas, exclusively for club members, facilitated by Dr. Aya Lurie, the Museum’s director and chief curator.
We invite you to become Friends of the Museum. Donations are tax deductible under tax clause 46 of the Income-tax Ordinance.
