MK Kahne, who began his career as a painter, took up sculpture in 1992, initially by bringing together paintings and objects inspired by Dada and Fluxus art. Kahne’s work is concerned with body-related obsessions and the pursuit of perfect packaging. The object Suit is based on a combination of a business suit and a military pouch vest – bringing together two different worlds to create an absurd outfit designed for daily survival in the contemporary world.
