Jasper Johns’ target, Tables of Covenant, still life, falafel, Picasso, Pollock, Duchamp, and a dinosaur singing “I’m gonna sing, sing, sing, till the sun goes down”, among others, appear in Alona Friedberg and Limor Orenstein’s new work. In the work, the artists are seen performing a variety of actions ranging between a dance on a Game Zone machine – to the music of old Israeli marches, and in pseudo domestic situations referring to famous still life paintings.
