Call for the purchase of “Corona Diaries”
for the collection of the Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art

The Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art Collection Acquisition Fund, generously provided by the late Prof. Michael Adler and the Herzliya Museum Association, thanks the artists who submitted proposals following a call for proposals published by the museum. The judging committee (which included artist Prof. Sharon Poliakine and curators Yona Fischer, Tali Ben Nun, Ran Kasmy-Ilan, Lilach Ovadia, and Dr. Aya Lurie) examined in depth over 400 diverse and impressive proposals.
After weighing the judges’ scores, were selected the proposals of Dov Or-Ner; Anisa Ashkar; Raya Bruckenthal; Naomi Brikman; Izabella Volovnik; Noy Haimovitz and Tamir Erlich; Zvi Tolkovski; Lali Fruheling; Merav Kamel and Halil Balabin; and Elham Rokni.
The selected proposals give a complex expression to the spirit of the times, like a diary time capsule that captures personal impressions and essential moods of the period. The fund, which amounts to 100,000 NIS, will be divided equally among the selected proposals. We congratulate the winners, and thank all the artists for their responsiveness.
