A tangled twist along the wall creates a distanced, material and enlarged drawing, sending its tentacles into space. The fragile pieces of wood look as if they might snap at any minute, and yet they produce a large scale composition spreading over the entire wall, threatening to take it over. Cnaani is engaged with material, sculpturing it in a non-sculptural manner: she does not carve in natural wood, as in classic sculpture, but rather uses processed industrial wood, while she explores the limitations of the material.
