Andrianomearisoa’s references are intuitive and constructed of imagery taken from eclectic sources such as magazines and books from foreign cultural centers, friends, street scenes and town and village life: the clothing, forms, techniques, attitudes, smiles and anger of all those around him. He creates for the joy of making, unmaking and remaking, endlessly inventing or borrowing from Madagascan imagery.
